Paytm Money: Paytm Money launches stock trading service –

Paytm users can now invest directly in equity markets. The digital financial services provider has introduced stock trading on its investment and wealth management platform- Paytm Money. The new service is currently available in Beta mode. It will enable experienced and first-time investors to seamlessly invest in equity products. Under the new service, Paytm users will be able to invest in equities at low pricing along with digital KYC with paperless account opening. While the cash delivery trades are free, intraday trades will cost as low as Rs 10.
With the launch of the new service, ‘the company is striving to become the most comprehensive online wealth management platforms in India driving financial inclusion for the masses’.
As mentioned above, the stock trading feature is currently available in beta mode. It is only accessible for Android & Web users and will be followed by an iOS release in a few weeks. The company is offering early access to a select set of users to receive feedback and the app will eventually be opened to everyone in a few weeks.
Paytm Money has a Smart Search & Notifications feature that allows users to discover and set price alerts for as many as 50 stocks and get notified when the price is reached. Moreover, they can create and customize multiple watchlists to track real-time price changes for up to 50 stocks. Users can also automate stock investing by setting buy orders on a weekly/monthly basis. The app also has a built-in brokerage calculator enabling users to discover the transaction charges and know the exact breakeven price to sell stocks profitably. Paytm has also added options like cover order and bracket order to make the stock trading experience more rewarding.
