iqoo u1: iQoo U1 with Snapdragon 720G launched in China –

Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has expanded its product portfolio in China with the launch of iQoo U1. The smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and offers triple rear camera setup at the back. The handset is priced at CNY 1,198 that roughly translates to Rs 13,000 in India.
On the specifications front, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.53-inch full HD+ screen with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display offers a 90.72 screen-to-body ratio and has 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also houses a cut-out on the top left housing the front camera.
iQoo U1 runs on the company’s own UI based on Android 10 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with Adreno 618 GPU. The smartphone offers up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and boasts of up to 128GB internal storage capacity. For selfies, iQoo U1 smartphone has an 8MP camera at the front with an aperture size of f/2.0.
iQoo U1 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 18watt fast charging support. The handset also supports OTG reverse charging. For camera duties, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera system. The setup consists of a 48MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.
Dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and a Micro-USB port are the connectivity features available on the device.
Price and availability
iQoo U1 has three variants. The base model packs 6GB + 64GB storage and is priced at CNY 1,198 (approx Rs 13,000). There is another variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM which is priced at CNY 1,398 (approx Rs 15,000. The top-end model has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be purchased at CNY 1,598 (approx Rs 17,000). It will go on sale in China on July 23.
