If you purchased the game on Xbox One, then it would be free for you on the Xbox One X and S both, should you make the transition to the next gen consoles. There are no additional charges for the switch to the next generation console. There would be five editions of the game: Standard, Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s editions.
Developer Ubisoft has set this game during the time of the Viking raids on the then-divided England. The Vikings are the mainstay of the storyline and as a Viking, you’ll get to raid the land and set up small villages and colonies too in England. Ubisoft has promised that the game will have a “visceral combat” featuring dual-wield axes, shields, swords and of-course the “hidden blade”.You will get to lead Viking raids and build settlements as Eivor, as male/female character. The game can be preordered from Ubisoft’s US website.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was earlier slated to release on November 17, but its launch date has been moved up to coincide with the launch of the next gen Xbox consoles. Xbox Series X launches for $499 on November 10, while the Xbox Series S launches for $299 on the same date.
Ubisoft has got some other big releases lined up for the coming year like Watch Dogs: Legion and Far Cry 6.
